this goes to show you how some of the most iconic logos today have gone through so many changes yet still hold the same characteristics as the logos they started with.

since my group decided to make a taxi company here are some logos from other taxi companies:

Ask yourself; is a logo still effective if:

  • Printed in one colour?
  • Printed on the something the size of a postage stamp?
  • Printed on something as large as a billboard?
  • Printed in reverse (ie. light logo on dark background)

logopond.com is my favorite website to go to for logo inspiration. here are a few that stood out to me:

creating a brand identity also has to do with being able to use your logo in unique, creative, and different ways. here, trident uses the gum as teeth. this makes the package design really cool. and definitely makes the consumer want to buy it.
